Would you like to really help animals? Become a Volunteer at the West Valley Animal Shelter. There is a Volunteer Orientation at the West Valley Shelter on Wednesday February 15, 2017 at 5:30 PM. As a Volunteer, you will be able to take dogs out for walks and play sessions, cats and rabbits out for petting and affection, and help with adoptions and rescues. The animals at the Shelter really need to get out of their kennels, and we need more Volunteers to make sure every dog and cat gets out. Imagine what it would be like to be a dog who is used to running around and playing, to be locked in a kennel 24 hours a day, with no exercise or affection; the same with the cats. You can make a difference in these animals' lives. And when they have this kind of attention and exercise, they become much more adoptable when someone comes in to look at them. Please see details on the flyer to the left. The West Valley Shelter is located at 20655 Plummer Street, Chatsworth, CA 91311. Date for the May Orientation coming soon.
